Please include "7571TE26Q00034_SourcesSought" in the subject line for correspondence related to this Notice. The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is continuing its efforts to facilitate and expand the secure, electronic movement, and use of health information among organizations according to nationally recognized standards. The ONC Health IT Certification Programs (Certification Program) original purpose was to establish and execute a process for certifying Health Information Technology (Health IT), including Electronic Health Records (EHRs) that can be purchased by providers to help them become meaningful users and eligible for incentives offered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Program has evolved and now also supports health IT adoption, interoperability, and care quality improvement initiatives. The purpose of this requirement is to provide the services and personnel required to support the continued maintenance, development, and improvement of the currently deployed ONC Certified Health IT Product List (ONC CHPL).
