The purpose for this modification/amendment is to provide a response to the questions received. Question No. 1: The Government states on Page 3 Section B.2 Period of performance that this is a 12-month contract. However, on page 39 Section L Instructions to Offers Sub Section C. It states the government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with 4 option years. Does the government want pricing for the base period and the 4 option years or just the base year? Response: On page 3 Section B.2 Period of performance is a 12-month contract. On page 39 Section L. C. Type of Contract (MMAR-216-1) should read as follows: The Government contemplates award of Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type contract resulting from this Solicitation. Question No. 2: The Government states on page 15 Section C.23 Statement of work that this effort is for one Full Time Equivalent (FTE) onsite support person and demonstrated experience and skills is evidenced by suppling the Gigamon part number (SKU) GPS-GOS-RSE. Does the government want the vendor to supply a FTE with Gigamon system administration experience or a do the just want a price quote for Gigamon part number GPS-GS-RSE for an on-site engineer? Response: GPO desires the vendor to supply a FTE with Gigamon system administration experience and a price quote for Gigamon part number GPS-GOS-RSE. Question No. 3: If the same service or similar service is being/was performed by a contractor, and if so, the related information such as the name, award number, and award amount. Response: There's no incumbent. Question No. 4: If there is a budget for this solicitation. Response: Lowest bid Technically Acceptable. The budget for this project is based on the government estimates for a vendor to complete the work identified in the Statement of Work in a twelve-month period of performance. Question No. 5: Referring to Section 7.0, Page 15: please elaborate as to percentage of the work that is expected to be performed at backup facility, and whether the travel expenses are reimbursable separately. Question No. 6: Approximate Percentage that the contractor can work remotely vs on-site Response: Contractor expected to be onsite at GPO full time. Remote work for emergencies or exceptions that are approved by GPO COR. Question No. 7: Referring to Section 3.20, Page 14, please clarify in case there is an approved overtime/emergency/holiday work, how is the hourly cost calculated so that it can be invoiced properly. Since we are providing the monthly cost Response: Compensatory time off (Comp Time) after the event equating to the number of hours worked during the event is to be granted for these approved emergency events. Question No. 8: Are there any differences between the information found in the revised solicitation versus the original? Response: The Statement of Work (SOW) was the only revised section from the original solicitation. Question No. 9: Is this still open for new bidders? Response: Yes, this requirement is open to new bidders. Question No. 10: I couldn't find the original solicitation and found this revised and due date of 4/29. Response: As stated in the second paragraph of the revised solicitation: Please Note: Solicitation No. 040ADV-19-Q-0124a has replaced Solicitation No. 040ADV-19-Q-0124.
