Background and Purpose The U.S. Department of Labors Occupational Safety and Health Administrations (OSHA) regulations require employers to perform ongoing audiometric testing for employees who are exposed to a noise level at or above 85 decibels. The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest has approximately 300 employees who are, or may be, exposed to 85 decibels or more of noise while performing work. Technical Requirements / Tasks The intent of this firm-fixed-price (FFP) service contract is for audiometric testing for up to 300 employees to determine if they are experiencing job-associated loss of hearing.
