Description
The Government intends to intends to procure a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with up to five (5) awards and will utilize procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 � Acquisition of CommercialItems,and FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation and FAR 19.502-2 Total smallbusiness set-asides. The Government intends to procure one (1) 24-month base period in the support of Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) for high-resolution ocean floor mapping services using long-endurance Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code forthisacquisition is 514360 - Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services. The anticipated date of the award is on or about 1 August 2026. The anticipated start date of performance is 1 August 2026. This presolicitation notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A complete RFP package will be available on or about 28 May 2026, by downloading the documents at the SAM.gov website as follows:https://www.sam.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that thesolicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended,debarred,or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of aquote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award,during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make acontractor ineligible for award. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
