36C26226Q0250 ******* The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions asked regarding this solicitation. Q. What is the manufacturer and model number of each existing digital sign? A. WatchFire W19i-F8. Adaptive A Series Q. Are the existing sign cabinets and structures intended to remain in place and be reused entirely? A. Two Re-Used cabinets, One completely new cabinet Corner of Ajo/6th Avenue. Q. Are the existing LED modules being replaced, or only the control hardware/software? A. Yes, everything needs to be replaced except for the existing structure that holds the signs itself Q. Is the Government providing any owner-furnished equipment, software licenses, controllers, or replacement modules? A. No Q. Please provide photographs of: Front of each sign Rear access panels Internal components/controllers Existing electrical connections Existing networking/data connections Existing mounting methods and cabinet interiors A. See Attached document with the photos. Q. What specifically is included in new hardware ? A. Current housings are missing some stainless Hardware. Q. Is OPx software licensing expected to be included in the contractor s proposal? A. Yes Q. Is remote connectivity/network configuration required as part of commissioning? A. Yes Q. Are there existing data/network lines already routed to both signs? A. Yes Q. Is any electrical work anticipated beyond reconnecting to existing power? A. Yes Q. Are there any known issues with the existing structures, water intrusion, corrosion, Power supply, controllers, or communication hardware? A. No Q. Is programming/content setup required as part of the scope? A. Yes Q. Is testing and commissioning required at turnover, and if so, what acceptance criteria will be used? A. Testing and conformance will consist of a 48 hour burn in time with no glitches or power disruptions. Q. Will the VA require onsite training for staff on operation of the new software/system? A. Yes Q. Are there any warranty duration requirements for the installed components and software? A. Yes, one year Q. Are lift equipment, traffic control, or lane closures anticipated at either gate location? A. Yes Q. Are there any cybersecurity or IT approval requirements associated with the OPx software installation? A. Yes FIPS 140-2 Q. Can the VA provide any as-built drawings, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, or previous maintenance records for the existing signs? A. No, they cannot be provided to the vendors due to VA security policies.
