LCM 3D Printer

DESCRIPTION The Weapons and Energetics Department of Naval Air Weapons Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, California intends to procure a lithography-based ceramic manufacturing (LCM) multi-material 3D printer in support of current and future capability for ceramic-based composite materials research, development, testing, processing, and production. The LCM 3D printer will produce ceramic composite test articles and small-scale proof of concept parts. This printer shall be a standalone, enclosed printer unit having two interior rotating vats, a route for material dispersion and cleaning, an integrated build platform, an integrated light source, relevant print file preparation software, and integrated GUI controls. PROCUREMENT TYPE Per FAR 6.102(b), this procurement is anticipated to use competitive procedures under full and open competition and result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single award contract.
