PURPOSE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed contract to perform repair work of the Francis E Walter Dam located in White Haven, PA. DESCRIPTION: The major items of work to be performed under the Base Bid include, but are not limited to the following; resetting rocker bearings at Pier 2, repairing bearing anchor bolts at Pier 1, lubricating all bearing pins, repairing concrete areas with spalling or delamination, and installing an epoxy overlay on the bridge deck. The Period of Performance is 180 calendar days. Work on the project is anticipated to begin 10 calendar days after contract award and completed 180 calendar days after commencement of work DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE OF THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: $500,000 - $1,000,000. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, Size Standard $45.0M. SET ASIDE: This is a set-aside for small business. SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0001 � 18 JUN 2025: The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to make the following revisions to the solicitation: 1. A site visit is scheduled on Monday, 23 JUN 2025 at 9:00AM (Eastern). The location is the Francis E. Walter Dam project office, 146 Walter Dam Road, White Haven, PA 18661.
