CALUMET HARBOR BREAKWATER REPAIRS, CHICAGO, IL- USACE CHICAGO DISTRICT PROJECT

This Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District's issuance of an Invitation for Bid Package for its construction project entitled, "Calumet Harbor Break Water Repairs, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois (USACE Acquisition)." PROJECT INFORMATION: The proposed project consist of the placement of new armor stone and resetting existing armor stone as needed to the Calumet Harrbor attached breakwater. Repairs to the Breakwater would likely be conducted by a barge-mounted crane, barges carrying rock, Tugboats, and support vessels. Transport of stone would likely be via Lake Michigan.
