Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. The USDA Forest Service, Kaibab National Forest, is seeking contractors to provide aerial seeding services within the White Sage Fire footprint on the North Kaibab Ranger District, Arizona. NAICS Code: 115310 � Support Activities for Forestry Size Standard: $11.5 Million Set-Aside: 100% Small Business Set Aside Description of Requirement: The contractor shall provide all labor, aircraft, seed, equipment, supplies, transportation, permits, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform aerial seeding services on approximately 700 acres within the White Sage Fire area on the North Kaibab Ranger District, Kaibab National Forest. Services include furnishing certified weed-free seed, seed processing and handling, aerial application of seed, establishment and rehabilitation of staging areas, traffic control and safety measures, required reporting and documentation, and all associated support services necessary to successfully complete the project. The purpose of this project is to implement emergency post-fire seeding to prevent invasive species establishment and promote vegetation recovery within sensitive Kaibab plains cactus habitat. All work shall be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and aviation requirements. Performance Period: The anticipated start date is June 15, 2026. The period of performance is 30 calendar days, including processing, handling, application of seed, and submission of required documentation and invoicing. Place of Performance: North Kaibab Ranger District, Kaibab National Forest, Arizona. The project area consists of approximately 700 acres within the White Sage Fire footprint near Jacob Lake, Arizona.
