Description
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for non-personal services for the Chief of Naval Research (CNR) Fellows Program. This procurement is conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates awarding five (5) Firm-Fixed-Price purchase orders as a result of this solicitation. The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is initiating the CNR Fellows program to bring up to five recently tenured academic research professors to ONR for a one-year fellowship. The program is designed to infuse state-of-the-art knowledge into ONR while providing leading academics with unparalleled insight into the Navy and Marine Corps most critical research challenges. This initiative seeks to build a powerful bridge between academia and the Department of the Navy (DoN).
