CITY OF PORTAGE SEWER INTERCEPTOR REHABILITATION - SECTION 219, PORTAGE, PORTER COUNTY, INDIANA (USACE ACQUISITION)

Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P621B0011 for bidding purposes. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for the construction project entitled, "City of Portage Sewer Interceptor Rehabiliation - Section 219, Portage, Porter County, Indiana (USACE Acquisition)." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will provide service to inceptor rehabilitation extending from Stone Avenue in the south up to Central Avenue in the north. This section of interceptor is approximately 4,600 feet in length. It includes 30-inch and 36-inch diameter RCP pipe along with two (2) 20-inch diameter siphon pipes (between MH74-38 and 74-36). The siphon is restricting flow in the interceptor, so a third pipe will be added. The manholes within this stretch of interceptor will also be rehabilitated. Some manhole rim elevations are below the 100-year floodplain elevation and will be raised as part of this project as well.
