Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), anticipates a requirement for beach nourishment of Great Egg Harbor Inlet to Townsends Inlet Ocean City, Upper Township, Sea Isle City Cape May County, NJ. DESCRIPTION: Contract work consists of pre- and post-construction surveys, dredging from an offshore borrow area, and placement of approximately 1,162,000 cubic yards of beachfill material to construct a dune and berm at specified dimensions and elevations at Strathmere and Sea Isle City, NJ. Dune crossovers are also included in base work. Options, if awarded, could include an additional 698,000 cubic yards as well as dune grass and additional cross-overs. Performance of this work will occur in compliance with environmental restrictions related to the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and Essential Fish Habitat (EFH).DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE OF THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: $30,000,000 and $50,000,000. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Size Standard $45.0M. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 78 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Bidders are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://sam.gov) and PIEE at the time a bid is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. Registration for PIEE is required as this is the only place bids shall be submitted. Bids must be submitted in PIEE Solicitation Module. ADDITIONAL INFOMRATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the SAM.gov website, https://sam.gov and PIEE Solicitation Module.
