Description

PIEE update 0004 is for administrative purposes only, any official amendment will be accompanied by an SF30. PIEE Update 0003 is issued to transmit the SF-30 (7 pages) for Amendment 0002 of the IFB W912PL25BA008. This is to extend the bid opening date and remove all references of bid submission through DoD Safe. Bids may only be submitted through PIEE. PIEE Update 0002 is issued to transmit the Pre-Bid Site Visit sign-in sheet (1 page) for the IFB W912PL25BA008. PIEE Amendment 0001 is issued to transmit the SF-30 (7 pages) of the IFB W912PL25BA008, this amendment does not extend the proposal date. This is to provide site visit information and update conditions of U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements. The project will construct a new combined pumphouse and substation followed by the demolition of the current building 125 pumphouse and substation 12A/see below. The existing pumphouse will be operational in its current location during construction. Temporary power will be provided to the Fisher House on-campus hotel during construction. The construction will be performed in phases to allow continuous operation of the existing pumphouse. This requirement will include, but will not be limited to, preparation and/or performance for, submittals, field investigations, site visits, meetings and providing construction meeting minutes to the COR, staff interviews, phasing/scheduling, utility shutdowns, infection control measures and other related information and services. Based on history of VA Long Beach Campus, there is a likelihood of asbestos within the existing pumphouse.
